Saurabh Gupta is the Founder and CEO of E5XR, where he leads the design of AI-driven systems that help organisations move from experimentation to stable, operational deployment of artificial intelligence.

He is also the Founder of Earth5R, a globally recognised systems and sustainability platform that has mobilised over a million participants across cities, enterprises, and institutions. Earth5R has been recognised by UNESCO, awarded by Google, and showcased internationally for building execution-first, data-backed platforms that operate at scale.

Saurabh is a Google Showcase Innovator and a member of the OECD Cybersecurity Working Group for Cities and Regions, contributing to global discussions on digital resilience, system security, and governance at urban and regional levels. He has been awarded Young Leader – India–France by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, recognising his leadership at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and systems innovation.

He is a two-time TEDx speaker and a member of the Indo-French R&D Club, reflecting his active engagement in global research, innovation, and policy ecosystems. At E5XR, Saurabh brings over a decade of experience advising enterprises, governments, and international institutions on building intelligent systems that are measurable, governed, and designed to endure beyond pilots and trends.

Jahaan Gupta is Director and Co-Founder at E5XR, where he focuses on next-generation systems architecture, applied AI design, and the long-term evolution of intelligent platforms.

A Google Showcase Innovator, Jahaan represents a new generation of system thinkers who combine technical fluency with a strong emphasis on usability, coherence, and real-world adoption. From an early age, he has worked on technology-enabled frameworks that connect people, data, and action into structured, scalable systems.

At E5XR, Jahaan plays a central role in shaping how AI is embedded into organisational workflows—not as isolated tools, but as dependable systems that teams can trust and scale responsibly. His work reflects the execution-led philosophy established through Earth5R, adapted for the next era of AI-driven operations.

A Community-Built Intelligence Layer

E5XR is shaped by one of the world’s largest and most diverse real-world sustainability and systems communities developed through Earth5R.

Over the past decade, Earth5R has mobilised 1.3 million urban citizens and 1.2 million rural inhabitants across cities, towns, and villages.

This ecosystem is supported by hundreds of thousands of volunteers, thousands of remote interns, researchers, engineers, and field teams who have collectively contributed to large-scale, on-ground execution and data generation.

More than 3,50,000 volunteers have directly participated in structured programs spanning waste systems, urban services, rural livelihoods, water, energy, mobility, and governance.

These initiatives have generated rich internal datasets drawn from thousands of ZIP codes across 65 countries, covering both dense urban environments and remote rural regions.

Unlike AI systems trained primarily on synthetic data or limited enterprise datasets, E5XR’s models are informed by real operational data, collected through grassroots projects, industrial pilots, municipal programs, and enterprise case studies.

Every workflow, failure mode, and optimisation insight feeds into an internal data engine that trains E5XR’s AI to understand complexity, variation, and real-world constraints.
